Event Details:

Pedal The Plains is Colorado’s end-of-season cycling bash, capping off our world-class cycling event calendar on September 15-17th. A true two-wheeled celebration of Colorado’s Eastern Plains, Pedal The Plains will include delicious local food and on-route tours of working farms and historic sites, along with nightly live music and entertainment. Over the course of 177 miles, Pedal The Plains will visit three of the Eastern Plains’ most endearing towns: Kersey, Keenesburg, and Brush!, with many beautiful and interesting spots in between.

The Century-PLUS Option gives cyclists on the multi-day tour a chance to push their limits and go the extra miles or it may also be purchased by others as a single-day offering. The Century Ride will take cyclists from Keenesburg through Fort Morgan, where they will ride across the beautiful South Platte River, past the gorgeous views of Sterling Canyon, then along the perimeter of the historically significant Pawnee National Grasslands before heading on to the quaint community of Brush! where you can celebrate your accomplishments with music, beer, and a lively festival at the picturesque Memorial Park.

With three ride offerings—a 3-Day Tour, a Century Ride and a Family Fun Ride—this event is ideal for riders of all speeds and ages. Sign up for the 3-Day Tour online or onsite in Kersey on Friday, September 15th. Registration for the Family Fun Ride and Century-PLUS Ride takes place online as well as on Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th.

Proud to be a community-oriented event, proceeds from Pedal The Plains will benefit The Denver Post Community Foundation in support of Colorado Future Farmers of America and Colorado 4-H. Visit pedaltheplains.com for more information on the Tour!
