Ad Astra Triple Crown
The Dr. Bob Run is the first event in the Ad Astra Racing Store’s Triple Crown of Races event for the Fall of 2017. It is followed by races in Baldwin (October) and Lawrence (November).
The Rimrock Farm Cross Country course is one of the finest in the country. Rimrock was built by KU’s iconic Track Coach-the late Bob Timmons. He donated the farm and the course to KU in 2007. The course itself is challenging and picturesque with rolling hills, covered bridges and statues of legendary Jayhawk cross country runners such as Jim Ryun and Wes Santee. It is also makes for a nice walk on a early Fall morning.
